    What’s truly sad here is that if Berle had just given her back the wallet, with all of the money, she might very well have given him a reward.

    A friend of mine once lost his wallet containing his & his roomies’ rent payment- several hundreds of dollars.The next day, the wallet appeared in their mailbox with the hundreds minus $1.50 bus fare & an anonymous note of apology from the finder & a receipt for the fare.
