Not a comment on today’s strip, but on Lio in general:

I was trying to come up with a description of Lio yesterday, and thought of this: Lio is a cross between Calvin & Hobbes and The Addams Family. Is that a reasonable, short description?

I see Syd and Cybil and Dad, who is the robot?

You never see The Count from Sesame Street drink the blood of the living, turning them into soulless, undead monsters like himself. Why is that?

The Count (and counting) have their places. Lio’s TV apparently isn’t one of them.

The Count, et al, owe their ilk to the famous Bela Lugosi, aka Béla Ferenc Dezső Blaskó. A Hungarian immigrant, was famous for playing Dracula in the 20’s and 30’s. I remember him is several old Dracula movies where his heavy Hungarian accent did well.

Wonder when Lio is gonna watch “My Octopus Teacher” with his pet squid.

The Sesame Street Count is well drawn. I can hear him now!

What would Lio think of The Fearless Vampire Fighters?

Cybil seems kinda indifferent to it…

I like the film “Frankenstein Created Woman”.
