    Funny that the “dynamite courier” is dressed in business attire (such as it is)… Someone who is in the know better than I can verify, but I suspect that Sluggo was probably OK if he wasn’t carrying blasting caps along with the dynamite.

    Those were the days – when you could just go and buy dynamite or even TNT and lug it around. I wouldn’t even know where you could buy sticks of the stuff even if I wanted to… ;-)

    This strip was remade with a much higher budget by William Friedkin in 1977 as SORCEROR. Friedkin wisely let the audience in on the nature of the cargo for added suspense.
