Transcript:
Sluggo: I have an awful cold, Nancy---I'm coming to your house where it's warmer.
Nancy: Oh, dear---He shouldn't be coming here spreading germs.
Noise: KNOCK KNOCK
Nancy: Come in.
So, over 60 years ago wearing a mask to avoid spreading germs was common sense and even kids knew it. I’d guess that America’s dumb-down began about 5 years ago.
I suggest you wear your mask day and night, at home and outside, to protect yourself. Maybe a plastic bag over your head will ease the fear under which you live.

For once, a timely message on this strip.
Of course, today Nancy would have more to worry about than catching cold.
