    Sexism aside, that’s how it was for a long time after this ran. I remember hearing the classified job listings were separated into men’s and women’s job once upon a time.

    They are finding, buried in the fine print, that many property owners land or home deeds have lines stating that no one other than white people can buy said property. Many use the term “Aryan” to describe the preferred homeowners. This is nationwide.

    Of course, such language is illegal now, but no one wants to go back and change millions of home and property deeds, most of which would have to be done by hand as they are hand written.

    Goes to show you how “equal” America is – it was only made illegal late in the 20th century.
