Reminds me of the song Bing Crosby sang in White Christmas – “I fall to sleep counting my Blessings”.

Had to start with all the thanks now so he’ll be done by Thanksgiving!

Hey, Snow is still there, ”listening!”

We ought to learn from Winky.

Looks like Snow’s kittens got an extra helping of dinner.

I thank people should be thinkful and not “go on about it”.

My dad would cut short my prayers for me by finishing with a big flourish and God bless everything in the whole wide world! Gooood Night.

Especially these days, with so many of us working from home. In the early days of the lockdown, there was a true story circulating online (on the animals sites) about a dog who was very happy to have all his humans home all day. The poor thing wagged his tail so hard it just stopped working. His people took him to the vet, who said the dog had literally sprained his tail. Now that was a dog with lots of blessings to count.

While Snow rests his eyes and ears I’ll say it. A little early for Thanksgiving, but being thankful is good anytime.
