Eyesight troubles all my life – didn’t get my first glasses till I was eight. And the menopause can begin in your thirties, you know! My doctor just said I was “too young for flushes”, so I had to struggle on with it without help. But so far, I’m still here, several decades later.
No Aunty, old age is NOT for sissies. But it also comes with the comfort of not worrying what others think about you, hopefully some wisdom and grandchildren!!
Been wearing glasses since I was in the second grade and I have noticed my eye sight getting a little worse since 50. (currently at 52) Oh well, can be thankful the others haven’t really been a problem.

Except for menopause, those apply to all of us, but I didn’t start seriously slipping until 70.

Lucky you…the last two items have been with me all my life- and they’re getting worse with time. Thankfully, I’ve missed the other 3.

You made it to 50?

My dad never made it past 50 and I’m 58 now, seems odd to be older than he was in any memory I have of him
Aging is not fun, but I guess it beats the alternative

I don’t call it getting old. I call it outliving the warranty.

Takes twice as long to recover from half as much. Not liking this aging gig. At all…

I don’t remember getting old, but apparently, I did.
George Burns said something about having to keep getting new doctors. They kept dying on him.

I am going to be 45 in a few weeks and I already forget what I go into the other room for. Also, my eyesight sucks
