Yes, it is possible to be “addicted” to coffee. Caffeine shows habituation and withdrawal like other addictive drugs. Fortunately, most studies (studies always vary) show positive benefits from coffee (if not specifically from caffeine) used in moderation. Coffee was banned in some Middle Eastern countries when it was first used. Apparently, the elders did not want the young folk staying up late doing who-knows-what and dragging themselves into work the next day. Many believe coffee was the “edge” that allowed modern Western civilization to “reprogram” our periods of activity and concentration to our own schedule. Note that while caffeine DEFINITELY stimulates activity and intellectual production, it does not do so INDEFINITELY. When that second espresso makes you sleepy, it’s Nature way of telling you to LIE DOWN. :)
I’d like to know where Adam is going with this. We know he was just tortured by his sweet daughter with duct tape. Maybe this is some sort of revenge on she and the rest of the family that just stood by and let it happen. Don’t know how, but that’s all I got for now. Anyone else have any ideas?

I always forget. Is the motto of the NCA “Touch my coffee and lose a finger” or “I’ll give you my coffee when you pry it from my cold, dead hands”?

It must be really good coffee.

Touch my Nuclear Coffee and you could lose a finger, but only if you stick it in
If I need to stir it, I use an unobtainium spoon
