My wife was a city girl and when I bought a farm, we got some of those chickens that lay colored eggs. One morning while gathering eggs, my wife was surprized to see blue eggs. I told her they were rooster eggs. I forgot to straighten her out and later walked in on her talking to her mother on the phone. She was mad at me for a week.
