Transcript:
Pasquale says, "School will be out for the summer soon! I'll be home with you every day, momma!" Rose says, "Every day! Well? I'd better make the most?" Rose says, "Of the alone miles I have left!"
What happened to all of the archives that I got with comics.com? Am I being seriously ripped off here now that I’m paying for something I used to get for free?
Rose is Rose is one of my all-time favourite comics, and I have been a fan for many years. This thread sent me off to discover exactly when it started, and so far this is what I have discovered: via Wikipedia (I know, I know… not the most respected source, but still adequate for light “research”)
“Rose Is Rose is a syndicated comic strip, written by Pat Brady since its creation in 1984, and drawn since March 2004 by Don Wimmer….”
So an entire generation’s worth of gentle humour is available somewhere – (now I’m off to discover where to find earlier strips – had been hoping to find them here…)
