Looks more like a black eye. Should have gone with a white-wall.
One reason why I come back to Nancy. Every once in a full moon,(last night) Jaimes actually manages to be very funny.
Bushmiller would have appreciated that gag, although have you ever seen someone wearing a monocle in real life?
Monocles need to come back into fashion, at least because dropping one is a wonderful way to indicate surprise and shock, especially among the wealthy.
Lady Avelia: Otto, I’m leaving you. I’m in love with… Count Stavros.
Otto: My BROTHER?! (monocle falls out)
Much like the Nancy on skis strip from last week, I assume this was a strip where OJ worked backwards from the silly sight gag punch line.

EYEAHHHHHHH!!!
what building code would allow a windowless lower floor, although I doo love the classic salt box house.
Not so much a monocle as a monocular lorgnette.
I don’t know…I can’t hit the “like,” for the first time in a while.
Great sight gag, worthy of Bushmiller!
But now try the same great artwork with the dialogue tightened up:
P1: “See my fancy monocle?”
P2: “Next you’ll want fancy clothes and a fancy house.”
P3: “My house is already fancy.”
It’s a visual medium. Let the pictures do the work.
(╭ರ_•́) fancy comic. comments need work.
Hogan!
Quite.
