Yes. In many instants through history good leadership did arise from a person unexpectedly put into power. Donald Duck’s nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Jesus are just three examples.
The best leaders are those that actively do things without asking or looking to see if anyone is following. But their actions seem worth copying, their personalities are worth emulating, and their presence lifts the spirits of those around. For them, leadership is neither sought, nor thrust upon them, instead, others are inspired into “followership”.

When I switched positions at work a few months ago part of the deal is that I’m the person in charge 2 nights a week
Its actually less overall responsibility than my old position, but this one has a Title
If I have to lead I’m good at it, but I would rather let someone else do it at this stage of my life
