I had one like that in a rental house. Tiny freezer compartment would get smaller and smaller as the ice built up inside. Got so small you could barely fit one frozen burrito inside. Time to defrost.
Hope it does not break down. Two week [at least] back order for a replacement, meanwhile all your food has thawed and anything with mayonnaise is becoming deadly.
The joke is that for that time. For an ice box to work, a block of ice had to be purchased and placed in the lower door. So Jeff is thinking that is how it still works, but on a smaller scale.
