I would say burning leaves is more a summer thing, with burning everything else.

I see, though, that I’ve been trumped by the Voice of God, or the Voice of Olivia anyway.

Wow, this is a momentous occasion. Nancy after how many years has changed out of her black and white blouse and red polka dotted pants! Sluggo is however wearing his same old clothes so the new fashion battle is only half won.

Burning leaves? That hasn’t been an actual Fall “thing” for many decades now… but I do remember that everyone did it in our neighborhood. ;-)

I thought Fall was determined by the arrival of the pumpkin spice.

Since it’s a matter of opinion or perception, there is no right answer. But Nancy’s wrong.

A noticed crisp breeze could only mean Fall. Everything before was warmer, so a cooler breeze stands out. In Spring a crisp breeze would just be more winter – which has even crisper breezes. The only breeze that signifies Spring would be a warm breeze. Sorry in advance for being so analytical …
