My little Yorkie gets the zoomies almost every night. For about 10 minutes she races in circles all around the house. Usually making sure to jump over the highly indignant and insulted cat each circuit.
Sophie and Annie remind me of my cats, a couple of 1 year old sisters who tear around the house for no discernible reason. And being cats they add a third dimension to the chases, thundering up the cat tree, along a narrow ledge, the full length of the upper level of the atrium, then back down the cat tree, all in less time than one can say “what’s gotten into the cats?”

The only real reason for a good zoomy is “because we can”.

Our mini-chihuahua (RIP) would take off on a tear around the house until she was out of breath, get back on my lap and go back to sleep.
