Why not write the numbers down in an address book? Or anywhere, really? You could even write down the Pluggers submission email in case you get an idea.

I have a 2020 book but the vast majority of it is yellow pages. I can’t recall ever using the yellow pages for anything.

I think it’s a pretty good idea to write down numbers if you dunno how to keep a backup copy of your contacts. These "smart"phones won’t last as long as the good ol’ landlines did.

I have a collection of my ole Address Books from 40+ years ago. Comes in handy now and then, here and there…..when I can think of it… I waz gonna edit them all down to one Good One, but then that’s work, and ……well, you know…

The good old phone book ! Nice thing was no charge to become a premium user ;-)

an urban plugger remembers when saving the old phone books was to use them a booster seats for the visiting kids at the lunch table.

A few years ago, I bought a used car from a dealer. Because of 911, they had to do a background check because I wanted to pay cash. The salesman said I was the only one that passed the number 19 check. The one where you had the same phone number for more than 10 years. I’ve had it since 1989. Now it’s voip, however.

The youngins wouldn’t understand why tearing a phone book in half with your bare hands was a test of strength. I could do it….one page at a time.

It’s nice being able to keep your cellphone number regardless of where you move, especially while you are moving.

I’ve had the same landline number for over 40 years!

I have phone books from all the cities and towns we have lived in. Use them to send flowers and such from the local florist and stores to old friends.

I do miss phone books. Finding stores that sell the same variety in the Yellow Pages was so much easier than using das googly.
