When I was in college we had one bathroom for 40 guys, someone ripped out the partitions between the toilets it was left like that for a semester. Was easy to have conversations no yelling over the stall
I worked for a company that did this years ago. They claimed it stopped drug use in the bathrooms. I retired 10 years ago. Nothing new about that policy.
The roller skating rink that was in the Springs took the doors off of the girls’ stalls. This was back in 1987. They claimed it was because a girl had been raped in one of the stalls & if the doors weren’t there it wouldn’t have happened. Total bull. I always figured it was because of the alcohol some of the kids smuggled in. I’ve been married for 32 years, had 2 kids, & still cannot pee unless the door is shut & the water is running. Needless to say when I went skating I held it!
I work at a nuclear power plant and they just issued location trackers to ensure people are working on the right equipment (we have a lot of redundant equipment and you have to read the tags to make sure you’re on the right one. We spend a lot of time teaching this and providing the human performance tools to get this right.) Some genius decided that we should all wear these tags, even those of us who don’t work in the actual plant and never touch equipment. 1984 has arrived a bit late.

Nothing a strategically placed laptop wouldn’t fix. You can work while you work it out. (Apologies for the bathroom humor.)
Next there will be a change to their rest room break policy.

Are they all-inclusive restrooms?

This is the only “Privacy Policy change” that I can understand.
