I found one at an Art and Wine faire a few years ago. Beautiful binding and handmade cotton rag pages. I bought two for myself and one each for the Mrs and the daughters. And later ordered 3 more for myself. The paper takes ink from a fountain pen quite well, quick drying and no bleeding. As good or better than Clairefontaine or Rhodia. And almost as good as Elephant Poo paper (Look it up). If you think the notebook is too good for you, then improve your writing skills and tools.

Someone gave me a beautiful notebook. Way too beautiful to write in. I re-gifted it, so now it’s someone else’s problem.

I know there’s a My Dad Is Dracula about this, but I just can’t lay hands on it.

I have no problem writing in my nicest notebooks. But sometimes I’m hesitant to sully a new sketchbook with my amateurish drawings.
Then I get over it.
