Love the turkey!!! We have the wild ones here in upper Illinois & it’s fun to “gobble” at them & then listen to the racket that starts up! My Dad used to take me to his pal’s store, where there were flocks of chickens & then turkeys in late October. He could imitate them so well, the whole flock would start strutting & gobbling & eying their fellow turkeys…such fun!

Time to eat the critters that have fattened up on the garden. That is the cycle of nature.

I don’t have a garden, but I’ve seen deer, rabbits, turkeys and squirrels in my neighborhood, and I live within the city limits of Buffalo, NY.

We also have turkeys year-round in the Boston area. One year I over-wintered kale in my backyard, but the turkeys came and ate it all!
