For most kids, it’s a break. For me, it’s a week-long dread of making lessons, only to be changed to clay creations because the kids used up all the acrylic paint in the first period. And if you think it’s ok because there are no kids, but the detention room is being painted, so they’re using my room to do it.

True story: I Was in college and the instructor told us he was going to have us evaluate each other’s presentations. I thought this was to help him with the grading. So he gave us forms and there was a place for our name. After giving some constructive criticism about the first student who presented, I was horrified when the the professor collected the comment sheets…and gave them to the student who just presented!

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. This will most likely not end well.

Mine starts at 5 and ends at 11 and you get 3 1/5 hours minimum worth of homework and almost all of it is writing a 30,000 page for Language Arts that is do the next day.
