Okay, Moonie, so fake is more realistic than real, or at least flashier (the spider eyes, anyway)?

I’m with Pilsner. Skeptical….

I was thinking he had regressed to adolescence, but what do you expect from someone who has a bug eyed bird as his voice of reason. And, he did vacuum. I probably wouldn’t have done that in adolescence.

I have a spider that you hang by a string. It drops when it senses movement and it’s eyes flash as it “climbs” back up. Big and hairy.

I got little pumpkin lights— they look like a neon tube in a pumpkin shape, illuminated with LEDs, very cool. I put one in each window. Being cheap, they don’t have timers, and so I have to go room-to-room to turn them on at dusk, and then off when I go to bed. The three in the basement windows I’m leaving on: it’s an experiment, I say, to see how long the AA batteries will last, not that I’m lazy.

But the real ones catch the flying, uninvited guests.

It’s fall here in New Hampshire. That means the ladybugs are swarming. I have a few dozen ladybugs in my Dustbuster.

Reason enough, but how good is it a catching flies?
