Priest: “In your family, do you pray before you eat?”Little Boy: “We don’t have to. Mom’s a good cook!”

But WHY do other people insist on taking pictures of their food and sharing it with others? Do they honestly think that other people actually want to know what they’re about to eat? And what did those people do before cell phones and Instagram™? “Oh, I just made this lovely steak, I wish there was some way of sharing it with the whole world…” I mean, seriously?

I snack and pray all day and night. Hope He’s not annoyed…..

AMEN!

A good time to remind folks that Thanksgiving is not the national day of football; but a day set aside to thank G-d for the blessings provided in our lives by His provenance.

Wife and I even pray when we’re in a restaurant. Get some strange looks sometimes, but have noticed others pray after they started their meal.

“Good bread, good meat, good GOD, let’s eat.”

Over the teeth and past the gums, look out stomach here it comes.

among a myriad of things i don’t “get” these days is taking pictures of one’s food… and then sharing with everyone in the known world

That’s not a photogenic meal.

To each their own.. Old habits die hard.. are just a couple of clichés that come to mind.

Beware a woman who photographs food compulsively. Ask for a photograph of her mother. You’ll see what I mean.
