    The funny thing is that Calvin tried using a decoy before. It ended with Hobbes scribbling in his comic books.

    “Saving” a paper lunch bag sounds like false economy to me. There could be residues of food, breeding bacteria, in the paper. Children, especially, are not that careful about how they unwrap their lunches.
