He was collecting leaves for composting. You should appreciate your son’s regard for nature.
boy’s gotta defend himself from a homicidal psycho jungle cat at the front door one way or another
You don’t have a messed up mind like Calvin does.
Pretty rare to see Calvin actually problem solving, effectively.
Not often that Calvin comes out ahead.
The irony is in the last panel where he’s carrying Hobbes as a stuffed toy…..
Aren’t they disposable brown bags? They were made to be thrown out after one use.
When do the snowmen making events begin here?
He’s multi-tasking those bags, Mom!
His dads a lawyer, do they really need to reuse brown paper bags?
Hobbes will pounce on anything that resembles a Calvin.
Hobbes won’t fall for that ruse again. Might as well keep the bags clean.
I’m genuinely surprised that it worked. Hobbes is usually able to see Calvin’s tricks a mile away.
Taking that back of head mask to another level.
Death before dishonor.
The funny thing is that Calvin tried using a decoy before. It ended with Hobbes scribbling in his comic books.
“Saving” a paper lunch bag sounds like false economy to me. There could be residues of food, breeding bacteria, in the paper. Children, especially, are not that careful about how they unwrap their lunches.
Calvin outsmarted Hobbes.
Beware a tiger scorned Calvin.
It only worked because Calvin had a tuna sandwich for lunch… ☺
At least this time it worked, compared to a similar idea months ago… https://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/2020/04/26
Totally love the 4th panel – pure genius!
Hobbes once again fell for the trick. He must have guessed by now. But it’s ok. Feline reflexes are not very accurate.
