Linda is like Gina but elderly and she is snooty about her cooking, not her grades.

So,I just read the new Max and The Midknights,I’m not sure if its extremely new,but whatever. Since its a Big Nate spinoff(or whatever you would call it) I thought this would be a good place to share my thoughts on it,so here it goes. Pros:1:The bodkins are a really cool and well executed idea.2:The cliffhanger at the end was pretty cool. 3:It gave a little more backstory to Max and how she met Uncle Budrick. 4:There were some pretty genuinely hilarious moments. Now for the cons 1:The fact that Sedgewick is just a copy of Artur is pretty dumb.2:Millie and Simon are still bland side characters. 3:We dont see a lot of development from much of the characters and the development we do see is mainly from Max where she feels useless which is such a overused and unoriginal trope. Overall:7/10. Good book,but definitely not amazing. I wish more of the characters did more stuff.

From those of yesterday’s strip, here you go: Gram had enough. Linda was yakking and bragging about her double fudge brownies. But she didn’t notice gram’s knife sinking in her stomach. Her sly smile instantly was wiped away. Now gram was the one with a sly smile. She disappeared into the night. As paramedics arrived, they started looking for evidence. They found fingerprints on the knife? Who could it be? Asked Nate and Gramps. Then they realized; Gram had vanished! Why would she do that? they questioned earlier. Now it was clear to them that gram had murdered Linda…
