Rolling of eyeballs is kinda Petey’s thing!

Poit is one of my favorite cartoon sounds. The first time I saw it was in a Spy vs Spy in Mad magazine.

Can you imagine Petey’s reaction if he looked under his bed and saw an eyeball looking back at him? !!!!

Too bad the eyeball didn’t Poit off during Show & Tell!

Richard did indeed cleverly foreshadow the eyeball’s demise, back in the strip when pangolin-Alice was bloviating. You could see the right eyeball twitching on its weakening stem!

And then in Petey’s sanctum: poit! I do marvel at how acutely My Hero observed that it rolled under his bed.

And I am confidant that Alice will retrieve it, however grumpy she may be….

Maybe Nara has a potato-shaped duck.

I finally took off my Halloween costume last night.

It’s rough finding your little sister’s eyeball under your bed. Believe me! I have 2 younger sisters!

“Your eyeball rolled under my bed. Pick it up.” That’s not a phrase one hears often.

Or maybe she has a potato that lays ducks
