Never mind that pommel horse is a men’s gymnastic event, and the youth he’s decrying are in the women’s competition, Bucky is ON A ROLL and not about to slow down. He is, as they say, “feelin’ it.” He’s on a roll, like Bluto in Animal House.
There is a serious ethical question about how young female Olympic gymnasts are. As beautiful as what they can do is – is it really right to be creating an environment where they are forced to retire nearly when they finish puberty? Yet, if they have that sort of drive – is it right not to give them such an outlet? I don’t know that answer, but am glad that none of my family have really shown such passion to make it a problem that we have to deal with.

I’m gobstopped! I’m no fan of the Olympics, but I hate agreeing with Bucky about anything.

I think the answer is “to make lots of money”. What do I win? It better not be a medal.
