In other words he kidnapped a seal and now there’s cause to arrest him, keep an eye on the newspaper, there could be a reward for information on him.

You know seals have microorganism on their skin that can cause sickness, looks like Sam’s dad contaminated his son’s bathtub, and he did it again when he jumped in! XD

I believe baby seals are supposed to stay on land until they mature, say what you will about the guy you “rescued” him from, but I bet at least he knew that.

Better question: Why are his parents at their house? If they’re running from the law (again) I would think going to a family member’s house would be one of the first places the cops would check.
