Readers this week were hoping GBT would do something about the election today. He did reference it, obliquely, with the Post Office comment.

Anyone else think it is weird that it’s now 19 days since the election and we haven’t had a Doonesbury cartoon that even hints at the result?

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn’t I get frozen in time on that day. (Love ya, GHD.)

It might be interesting to temporarily portray Mike Doonesbury as he might exist as a present-day college student. The first “Doonesbury” strip I read, he was in college, and was accidentally assigned a female roommate. (Maybe that’s already been done?)

You are dude, except on Sunday. Time flies pretty fast when you’re only live one day a week.

How did Mark get so old looking? I remember when we were the same age. Where’s Steve Dallas in Bloom County? We were the same age also.

Gasoline Alley has let its characters grow up and age. It was its main difference from other comics, starting from the very first year.

I’d prefer him bringing back daily stuff

We haven’t seen walden puddle in a loooong time. It’s East Coast, but still, I bet w/ everyone in lockdown, it’s got a lot of ducks, frogs, etc.
