    I hope Petey isn’t calling a person a fruitcake!

Now I’m hungry for a slice of fruitcake! Maybe with a touch of butter.

Alice should create her whacko list for show & tell! Rating her Fruitcake pals from 1-10!

Why the hate for fruit cake? It’s not the Christmas season without fruitcakes, mince tarts and shortbreads. I love them all and rotate through them all November and December. Already had my shortbread and first fruitcake this month. Mince tarts for dessert tonight! Yum!!!

I’ve been socially ostracized by more than one group for liking fruit cake (but it must be good fruitcakes!)

These kids are my heroes! I have red hair, a smart mouth, and I am a very picky eater too. I love their humor and I can relate to them. I even have an older brother.

mmmm, fruitcake. I love a good fruitcake. The stuff typically available in the stores doesn’t qualify, but homemade usually does.

All fruitcakes are not created equal. Dates, candied fruit, candied citrus, pecans and walnuts, all in a spice cake binder. Either drown it in rum, or wrap it in foil and put it on top of the fridge for 2 weeks to age. You know it’s right if you cut off a piece, and can reform it if it falls apart.
