I don’t think this’ll go well…

I stayed up late to read this story arc, you can bet I’ll do it again! This is going to be interesting!

Ending 1: he finds a seceret portal leading to a fantasy world. Ending 2: He discovers his love for Mrs. Hickson. Ending 3: He gets bored and goes back to class. My prediction is either 1 or 2, or maybe those two combined. 3 is out of the picture.

I hope he gets held back a grade

I see that either he’s going to go back to class because he got bored or he will not do anything for the rest of the school year And he has to go to summer school and gets no grades for the year

Nate closes his eyes, and wakes up to a familiar place. The large words that read in front of him were “The Dating Game!” :Oh, this game show again. I’m back in 1969." Nate glooms. His head turns rapidly when he hears a man’s voice. It was Francis’s dad as the host “Mr. Pope??” Nate asks. But he is shoved into a soundproof room. Mr Pope says, “Meet our lovely lady bachelors!” “Jenny Jenkins, a foot model who loves to go swimming and loves Elvis Presley!” "Trudy Blackwell, a singer with hits like, “I Love Him So” and “A Rose Is Still A Rose”. She enjoys taking long car trips, and in her free time she likes to care for her grandmother." And our 3rd bachelor, Kelly Melain! She is a lifeguard who loves volleyball and wishes to be an astronaut one day." “And of course to keep our contestant from hearing anybody, we have kept in a soundproof room! Here is Nate Wright!” "Nate is the famous drummer for “Enslave the mollusk”, which is one of the hottest bands right now! He also hopes one day to become a famous cartoonist! "Bachelor number 1… Where would we go on our first date? “Hmmmm, I would let you decide.” Jenny exclaims. Nate knew the voice right away. “JENNY??! he thought.”

I would have thought people in the US need more Social Studies classes, especially these days…

Why does Nate look kind of dissapointed in the last panel? Or is he just being savage…

Plot twist: Nate crosses paths with CG Nate!

Plot twist: he picks up a comic book and it turns into a time machine. He tries to hide it from mrs Hickson but she comes over a smiles evilly. “Ah nate. I see you found my secret weapon”. Nate shivers. “This is ordinary time machine!” He exclaims. “Yes, I use it to trap kids in time” Mrs. Hickson says sinisterly. (Continue please)

Greetings, Papaya fans!Though none of you noticed that i was gone, for the past month I have not posted. My cat was sick, and eventually passed. she lived just long enough to see 2021. I just wanted to say: Watch out papayas! Im Baaack!

There literally isn’t really a purpose or any kind of big picture at all to this entire strip. It’s been done before, it isn’t funny, and Dad going on some dates would have been a completely better story arc overall. 2021 is already a terrible year for big nate. Never has the yearly monopoly game been skipped, and now we’re getting below-par comics to top it off?

Sitting at a desk doing what someone else tells you to do and sitting at a desk reading what you like are two entirely different things.

Nate makes this seem like this is all new. I could do this all the time by just sitting in the bathroom. You can think of the class as suckers AND do your business at the same time!

I have a feeling, that this strip, is the start of the end of big nate. For 30 years mrs Godfrey has always hated nate, but now they realized that the school was nothing withought them.

I wonder what will happen next

I think there is a chance Nate misses Mrs.Godfrey cuz he can’t come up with ideas for Mrs.Godfrey comics.

A reply to “Bones the cat is back at life”. Yes, I know it’s a riddle. But. A concrete floor sits on the ground. No steps. And, for a all wooden house. A wooden floor rots when sitting on the ground, so piers are used to raise it off the ground. Which calls for steps. Which are painted green.

Random question: Do you guys think GameMaker Studio 2 is worth it? I want to make a game, and it seems like by far the best tool for the job, but I’m worried I’ll give up and end up wasting the money. What do you think?
