    There’s over 1 death per minute in the US, currently (Worldometers putting the current death rate at ~1500 per day and climbing).

    the average world death rate has been around 175,000 per day for many years

    I don’t care how many have contraccted and how many have died per minute, though it does get your attention to see the numbers. If each of us took care of ourselves the numbers would be greatly reduced.

    The implication is that those deaths are all from Covid. But 124 deaths per minute actually exceeds the total deaths globally on an annual basis.
