Honey has always seemed ill-cued in social situations. She even thinks Duke likes her.

For those who want to get ahead of this touching reunion, you can set the comic back to mid June 1995 and see whats coming ! lol

Finally, Mike gets the break he needs.

I think being caretaker to so many children has taken a toll on Honey (rather quickly, I might add, but who am I to judge?). Or maybe Earl being Duke’s new sidekick — one who WON’T play the role of Duke’s conscience as she has for so long — has her questioning her place in the world.

Honey and Zeke both have work experience with Duke so they’ve got that much in common, anyway.

I think J.J. dated Zeke right before Joan set her up with Mike, but I don’t know if Zeke — or, for that matter, Honey — was working for Duke at that point.

Honey is quick on the uptake. After Duke and his ‘orphans,’ anyone will do. Zeke’s not a bad choice.
