Starry, starry night..

Snug Harbor is, presumably, set on the continent’s east coast. And sadly, there’s almost nowhere in the eastern U.S. into which children might walk where they could become truly “lost.”

Where I live, there’s a 7,000 acre park that borders the city, and I’ve walked to what is the most “remote” place within its boundaries. And even then, I was still never more than a quarter-mile from the nearest man-made feature.

I almost said “What, again?”, thinking of the recent Crabgrass episode.

I want to be 8 years old again, and have a friend like Wallace.
