If they had asked how to AVOID food stains in the living room carpet, that would be good advice.
Avoid, yes. Remove, no.
Someone had the insane idea of putting carpet in the part of the kitchen where I eat. When my parents moved in they replaced it with new carpet. I’m always spilling on it. It may be time to find a way to put a new floor in there.
Or get a dog. It’ll take care of the spills before the stains set in.
