There’s only one “Z” in Scrabble. During the pandemic, my wife and I have taken to playing Scrabble every afternoon. Sometimes I turn an “N” on its side when I need a second “Z”. I wonder if that’s what Lola did.
Sometimes I turn an “I” on its side to use in making hyphenated words. There’s no end to the fun in Scrabble. So my wife sez.
I’m not an expert Scrabble player, but if a triple word score means 48 points, doesn’t that mean that the sum of all the letter points is sixteen? According to Wikipedia:
K = 5 points
R = 1 point
Z = 10 points
Z = 10 points (There’s only one, but I’m going according to the strip)
C = 3 points
H = 4 points
P = 3 points
O = 1 point
P = 3 points
So, “KRZZCHPOP” would be 40 points and a triple word score would be 120 points. What am I missing?

You’re a brave man. Mine played words with friends every day, so Scrabble with a ringer ain’t a good time.

I don’t think onomatopoeia is allowed, except for generally accepted terms like “Bow-wow”. Haven’t played Scrabble in forty years.

Krzzchpop isn’t a word found in the Scrabble Player’s Dictionary. Therefore it isn’t a playable word and must be disallowed.
