Considering he’s been gone so long, I’m surprised Breezy hasn’t gone that crazy yet. May-Bee will have a harder time trying to escape Cobra Carson. She loves a good hunt!
So Rip is out cold and he’s still recapping? I think I’m starting to understand why he recaps so often. Like breathing in mere mortals, apparently with Rip recapping is an unconscious, involuntary, automatic process. Rip can no more stop himself from recapping than he can stop his heart from beating. Perhaps one too many knocks on the noggin triggered this condition? Now that I know Rip suffers from this handicap I’ll try to be more understanding going forward.
She is just like the rest of the millions of American small business owners, and their tens of millions employees, who suddenly have no idea how they are going to put food on their tables, much less pay their utilities, rent, or mortgages.
Say… You don’t suppose there is some kind of curse on that stone, do you?
I mean, yes, I can understand May-bee wanting to replace her sunk boat. Kitty and Mousy took something precious from her, and taking the stone from them would serve them right. But now, chances are May-bee will end up at the mercy of Cobra, and Rip will no doubt save her and end up needing Cobra’s help to get home to his family.

Even if Rip is knocked out he can still narrate the story.

What an ungrateful wretch. Should’ve let her drown in the sea.

I don’t think May-Bee can run far enough to escape Cobra and Rip, treacherous little creep that she is.

I’m with May-Bee on this one.
She is just like the rest of the millions of American small business owners, and their tens of millions employees, who suddenly have no idea how they are going to put food on their tables, much less pay their utilities, rent, or mortgages.
Desperate times require desperate measures.

I’m starting to suspect that May-Bee Jones might be Cobra’s slightly nicer (but just as ruthless) cousin.

He does want to get home to his family, right?
