I’m 61, and I can still remember looking up at the bank teller window at the local Bank Of America like that kitchen counter view in the late 1960s and wondering what was on the other side.
How does Farley get to have food in his bowl? Are there dogs that don’t hoover up any food they come across in a matter of seconds? Life is full of mysteries!
First kid. I have to be sure my kid doesn’t put in his mouth anything from the floor !Second kid it’s ok it can eat food from the floor as long as he doesn’t eat the dog foodThird kid Well if he eat dog’s food that’s the dog problem.
This strip became the title of one of the annual collection books. Finding a title was often the hardest part of putting a book together. I always tried to find the title in the text of the strips that appeared in that book.
Elly you know better. Never leave dry dog food on the floor. Feed Farley in an enclosed area. Those bits can choke her. So far, I’ve seen you do a lot of wrong things. And April is your third kid. Come on. Of course, April will yowl in the playpen if you are right there. Just go into other rooms and she will stop. Or turn on the TV and let that entertain her while in the playpen and hopefully she will fall asleep. Now, what is the next wrong thing you will do next? Oh yeah, the playpen? Be sure it is not by the window with curtains or blinds. Can you guess why, Elly?

You may need to look down at people who look up at you but never look down on those who look up to you.

It has been said before. Elly acts like this is her first experience with a baby. I’m ready for this silliness to move on.
