While I’ve had some bad incarnations of pumpkin spice (Jello pudding anyone?), I wouldn’t put in the same league as liver and clamato.

Yes liver can be gross.

Clamato makes a good Caesar cocktail.

Resulting in obscene profits!

Controversial choices… maybe Dan did that on purpose.

All three have their haters and defenders.

Personally, I love liver, and usually dislike pumpkin spice.

As for Clamato juice, I can take it or leave it…

When Guy and Rodd still did “Brevity”, for a while they had a funny “Clamato week” every year (with a varying number of days)

featuring cartoons mocking the beverage.

But around here, it’s very popular in the local Hispanic community for making Micheladas…

a tasty beer cocktail, made with clamato, lime juice and hot sauce, in a salt-rimmed glass.

Hey, Clamato’s not gross.

Pork brains in milk gravy.

Hopefully no one takes this as a call to combine these things – Pumpkin Spice Liver and Onions in a Clamato based sauce … that could be the alternative to waterboarding!

I hope they liver up to the hype.

Liver and onions? Maybe with garlic and stewed tomatoes? Regardless, great stuff!

(Hated it as a kid, of course.)
