As a child I used to annoy my parents and now as an adult I annoy my wife by opening Christmas presents with the same meticulous care as if I were dismantling a bomb.

It’s a trap! Amazon doesn’t use plastic peanuts.

Kind of makes you wonder, you can get pretty much anything from Amazon, I wonder if you can get packing peanut and will they be packed in peanuts?

There’s a line between reasonable repurposing and hoarding. My parents lived through the depression and were obsessive about saving things and buying in bulk because they had gone without. Christmas decorations were part of that discipline. I like to think I learned from them and keep a reasonable balance. Don’t waste but remember it’s good to know when to let go of things.
