My beloved parents would go out to have Chinese food. They would just mix up all the dishes in their plate. As an adult I worked with many Chinese engineers. They ordered lunch and I ate like an Emperor. Most of the engineers moved back to China later.
Step-father once couldn’t remember the name of his favorite dish at a restaurant and could only describe it as coming inside big bowl and being delicious. Thus was born, in our family, “The Big Delicious Bowl!”
