@Linguist Today’s strip IS funny but a variation of a theme , our hero Mr Andrew Capp defending of his team’ hopeless performance is worthy of the master :o) my avatar is a picture of a billboard with an empty space that predicts the weather , what you see is what you get , which is how I do , comment avez vous passe votre Samedi mon moins vieux ami ? ours looks to be gloomy ,Connie is listless and bad tempered so I will try to cheer her up by making myself scarce :o{ keep safe and a bientot pal
When my wife used to go on the warpath, I’d head to the “Office” until she cooled off. “Office” is now a coffee shop and since I don’t imbibe anymore so I learned to iggy her.
I know I’m a day late, but since many of the Cappers were mentioning their ethnic and family heritages, I just thought I’d toss in that I’m half Cro-Magnon and I don’t know what the heck the other half is!
According to a very old cartoon Andy always plays well: the game he thinks he will play; the game he played; or the game he thought he played. He never disappoints himself.

There’s no point in setting the expectations too high.

I love the red bucket. Been around as long as the strip. Yellow sponge inside

I pity the Manager of any football team that had Andy on it!
