Wow, that is a lot of wax! At 4 crayons a foot, there are 142,000 miles in 3,000,000,000 crayons => Almost 6 times the distance (24,900) around the world!
Circumference of earth 24,901.460 miles x 5280 ft per mile x 4 crayons per foot(approx) x 6 times around the world= 3,155,513,011.2 crayons; if I figure this right. There must be some machines working overtime. I actually thought it would be more crayons than that. Gives you an idea of how much a billion is.
The Wright brothers were aviation genius’, no doubt, but there is pretty strong evidence that they were actually the 3rd and 4th men to “fly”. The American press, then as now, likes to create “heroes” to sell newspapers. Similar to Columbus “discovering” America, when he actually never got closer than the Bahamas, and there were already thousands/million of people here before him, both living and visiting.

Um, not being seen is kind of their thing.

Chameleons are masters of camouflage, that’s why he hadn’t been seen! He blended into the background.

We are almost as far from Mr Armstrong’s small steps as he was from the Wright Brother’s first flight.

Neil Armstrong accidentally left the plane pieces behind on the moon, and Buzz Aldrin teased him about it for years. Believe it or Not.

Of course, it’s a chameleon.
Gent about 4 years ago
Holy Crayola! Hope they’re non-toxic.
Gent about 4 years ago
I’ll bet that chameleon was hiding in plain sight all this while.
Gent about 4 years ago
If Elon Musk was around back in those days, then Neil Armstrong would’ve driven a Tesla on the moon. Believe it or not!

Them kameellions hide real good

I hope neil didn’t become the first Earthling to trash the moon? We have left a lot of crap up there and in orbit.
FrankErnesto about 4 years ago
That’s the thing about chameleons, they can disappear.
notjimothy about 4 years ago
Did ARMSTRONG leave the pieces there?
gsharpe about 4 years ago
Anyone think that maybe the Chameleon hadn’t been seen for that long because it’s ability to camouflage was just that good?
J Short about 4 years ago
The chameleon was discovered riding on the back of a zebra.
Casey Jones about 4 years ago
Now that is a chameleon with some talent for camophlage!
artegal about 4 years ago
You mean an animal that uses camouflage to blend into the back ground wasn’t seen? Shocking!

Looks like that rare chameleon is flipping us the “bird”! ;o]
ncorgbl about 4 years ago
My grandson produces 1.3 million broken crayons per year.
Fortunately, all systems were A-OK and Armstrong didn’t need the spare parts.
The chameleon came out when Boy George did but blended in with his surroundings and wasn’t noticed.

Crayons around the planet: Believe it.
Chameleon re-appearance: Or not!
Neil taking plane parts to the moon: Believe it.
May the board be with you. (Like maybe some nice knotty pine.)

Bet those chameleons concealed themselves in plain sight

And there’s still A LOT of “people” that don’t believe we’ve been to the moon. Or that the world is round.

In the 50s, I remember there was a Crayola shade called “flesh”.
