A friend of mine’s mother, 86 years old about, said to me the she was fortunate that she never had to work a day in her life. I looked at her and told her I thought she had worked every day: she raised 2 kids and a husband, along with a house that was always clean, dinner on the table, clothes washed, and more. I think she appreciated my comment.
Mothers have Historically been the backbone of all societies. " The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world". A lesson that “modern” society is forgetting. Thanks and way to go Mom……

Make no mistake, Moms are great, but let us not cheapen the word “hero”. Many of these great women heroines were also mothers.
