According to Adam Smith everyone in business is there to make $. The butcher is not there to provide meat for you, nor the shoemaker to make your feet comfy. They are in business to make money to keep themselves and their families fed, clothed and shelters. Some believe that honesty with customers brings a higher $ return in the long run, and some try cheating for more $ now. Rod’s just being honest.

Everyone is in business to make money and have nice things. Nothing wrong with that.

So, a couple days ago, it was “employee of the month” for, what was it, three employees, but Baldo always won. Today, it’s kind of a Stan Freberg Green Christmas.

Don’t know if I’d like working for mister Rod.

Baldo retail is sales, you make money and get your weekly salary. You do a good job for your owner. I did for my owner (which was jewelry) and he paid me well and gave me a lot of bonuses because people liked me and bought from me.

That might be why he chose the Mercedes symbol as his logo.

That’s an automatic 20% price increase.
