It can join the list of bad Christmas songs like “Wonderful Christmas Time”, “Jingle Bells” by the Barking Dogs, etc. You get the idea (no need to list them all AGAIN!) ;-)
It seems to be odd to see carolers bother Eno so consistently. I’ve never seen them go to individual homes unless they knew the resident. They usually went to places where there were several housing units or to places like nursing homes.
I hate that song soooooo much. Its not only a terrible Christmas song its just a bad, bad song. The only thing that could make it worse is if Mariah Carey covered it.
Even though it’s depressing, I always kinda liked “7 O’Clock News/Silent Night” by Simon & Garfunkel 1970. You never hear that on the 24 hour Christmas radio stations.
