ok this is just stupid. A phone is not only a toy.

Phones have no place at the table, if that is what he is objecting to. Common curtesy… (Wife yelled at our daughters if they glanced at phones during meals. Now she’s glued to hers 24/7.) Baldo and Gracie’s friends will think they’re dead if they don’t hear from them in a week.

When I was 10 our TV broke and it didn’t get fixed for 2 years. Mom, Dad and myself had less arguments and more time with each other. Not long after being fixed, mom made the statement that it should have stayed broken.

Really? Not using a device is the best gift? Not spending more time with him? Not anything else?

Baldo and Gracie don’t look very happy for giving their phones up. Still, if it’s for Papi, it’s worth it.
