But without the hat, what happens to the rest of Andy’s head? Does he even have any hair? Or is half his head invisible? All you can see is his red scarf.

@NNumber Three Today’s strip IS funny but a repeat , as I predicted yesterday our HERO Mr Andrew Capp ended up in the nick but his Christmas spirit is still strong and seeing as today was known as boxing day the station copper should box his ear :o) my avatar is a picture of the characters of “Asterix the Gaul” books because they are Stephen Mathew’s and my fav comics , I have all the books and videos issued ,how was your day on this day you don’t usually commentour day should be busy but calm I hope unlike yesterday when Arthur , Silvana and Princess Amy came over and brought us a cookie jar as a present and they also brought Zeus their Husky dog , then Alex came over with his live in lady and her son and daughter + their girl dog Bailey Bella went postal :o) keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

That Mistletoe over the cell doors could make a night in the cells somewhat interesting.

I’ve heard that “God rest ye merry gentlemen” is actually “God rest ye merry, gentlemen” as supported by the next line “Let nothing you dismay.” In other words, the singer isn’t addressing us as “merry gentlemen” but as “gentlemen” and asking God to rest us merry and asking us to remain undismayed.

So, Andy was doing a bit of busking; can’t blame a bloke for trying…

A rare instance of Andy literally flipping his lid.

Don’t push it or you’ll be singing soprano.

    @Afficionado

There was a Mr Bean episode where he had an Asterix comic book and he was reading it with Teddy before bed.

You’re right, I don’t usually comment on weekends but I neglected you all on Monday and that was very naughty of me.

Sounds like a lovely Christmas you all had. Any chance you could put Zeus as your next avatar? Would love to see him.

I have included a pic of the unusual combination of presents I got for Xmas. The only one I had no idea about was the handbag. I bought the £50 Gift Card myself and got the money from my parents. The £10 Gift Card was from my friend and the hair shaver in the rectangle box I ordered from Amazon. I’ve already had to use it on my upper lip. That’s what you get for being partly Asian and distantly African.

Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. I’m back on Monday so will see you then. I’m here until the turnover.

Two favorite parodies of this particular carol:

    “God rest ye, Jerry Mendelbaum . . . "

    Alan Sherman

    And:

    “Season’s greetings, Oscar boy,

    “The alimony’s due.

“If you don’t pay up right away,

“I’ll get the cops on you.

    “And you’ll spend Christmas

“In the clink, with other bums like you . . . "

    — Singing telegram from Oscar Madison’s ex-wife, in the very funny episode of The Odd Couple, entitled Scrooge Gets an Oscar, which parodied A Christmas Carol.

Now there’s something you don’t see every day. (Notice that they don’t show Andy’s head.)
