First you need two things, Gelatin and Jametin. You get the purple stuff, sugar, gelatin together, and then Jametin the glass jar. (I too am obviously lacking in the making of preserves, but that way seems to make sense.)
Lots of juice, and an equal amount of sugar. If you’re not sure, use Sure-Jell or Cert-o, and follow the directions. Not that I expect our girls to actually follow directions.
Best case scenario is that they’ll concoct something that is nauseating and inedible. Worst case scenario is that when they pour it down the drain, it will eat through the pipes.
