I have a supplier, who sends us a yearly calendar of vintage Aircraft. The company, Permali-Gloucester spends a small fortune on these calendars. Each picture is on heavy textured paper, and looks like a painting as well as a highly defined photograph.
All the aircraft are vintage WWII or just post WWII (1950’s) . I save every one of them for the pictures. Since 1998 when I got the first one.
I wanted to get that for my daughter since she loves goats, but she doesn’t use a calendar other than the one on her phone. Personally, I like just glancing at the wall rather than going through the motions on my phone.
I’m suspicious of Betty’s comment at the end. There are any number of calendars available at this time of year (unless she’s being cheap and limiting her selection to the free ones that some organizations send out — maybe she supports those worthy charities, Goats in Trees and Lammies in Jammies).
My wife and I always hang a wall calendar in our kitchen. Every year we pick it out together, so it’ll be something we’ll agree on. This year she indulged me when I just had to have the Vintage DC Comics Covers calendar that I saw at the local calendar store. Looking forward to using it in 2021.

A few years ago I gave someone a small, stuffed South American ruminant and told her is was a “dolly llama”.

I like the backyard birds common to my area calendar given out by the local feedstore.

Picture doesn’t matter since I fold it back (I don’t hang it). I go for max. writing space around the numbers.

I have several calendars! Mostly free ones I use for notes and one I bought because of the beautiful pictures.

I always get the calendar of the Colorado Fourteeners. I like to look at the mountains when I can’t be there.

My 2021 calendar is going to be recycled from 2006. That was a good year for me.
