    The Roaring 1920’s began with Libertarian zeal of no rules and crashed hard in a Great Depression because of it. F.D.R. understood things have to be done differently from the previous three presidents and so he moved Left to do so. The Right never forgave him for that. Though in 1937-38 he forgot and the Right had him on their track again and things went from up to downward once more. So he headed Left yet again and things returned to rising. World War 2 did relieve some of the pressure as industry geared up for war once again. It doesn’t work that way now at our peril.
